Patchewollock's Golf Tournament a Hole in One
Patchewollock Golf Club are promising "Mystical Readings" at their upcoming tournament in August, sharing the news in a media release that was so good we had to share!

The media release reads: "The proactive committee of the Patchewollock golf club have had successful discussions with Chinese developers, GH Properties, to subdivide twenty 2,000 sq metre blocks on the east side of the existing club house, that will potentially be developed into luxury townhouses for the golf loving Chinese.
The developers, in a gesture of goodwill, have offered the first lot of the subdivision as a prize for a hole in one, at the Patchewollock tournament to be held on the 4th and 6th of August.
The club's Media Manager, Mike Walsh, is also looking to partner with the Guangzhou Company, the biggest Chinese motorbike exporters, to have their bikes on display at the tournament, and is negotiating for the 200cc trial bike to be a prize for the tournament's lucky junior winner.
Mike said: “We are trying to encourage juniors to play in the Mixed Ambrose on the Sunday and thought the chance of winning a new motorbike would be an added incentive to get them off their iPads and out into the fresh air and freedom the Patchewollock links has to offer.”
The committee has also installed a state of the art online tarot reading tent, in partnership with Mystical Readings, so golfers can basically know their score before they start their round - or perhaps rectify their club selection on the hole they know they messed up on.
Mike Walsh commented: “This is a world first for any golf tournament and could revolutionise the game of golf, just imagine knowing your poor holes before you play them and rectifying the faults. "If this works we are expecting everyone to shoot below par scores”.
The course curator Mark Sims said “The fairways are looking like a turf farm and the greens are looking like the Glenelg beach, the heavy fertilizer program during winter has seen unprecedented growth and we have had to engage mower contractors to present the course in pristine condition for the tournament”.
The committee has already received entries from Australia wide for the MU Walch Memorial and Mens Four Best Ball on the Friday 4th August and unprecedented levels of interest in Sundays 6thAmbrose.
The club is expecting the biggest tournament numbers in decades.
See you there; Mystical Readings said you were coming."
