Are Medications Impacting Your Oral Health?


Medications used to treat issues such as asthma can have a negative impact on your oral health, with a new survey undertaken for the Oral Health Advisory Panel (OHAP) showing 82% of asthmatics are unaware of the effects.


Not knowing if a patient has asthma, diabetes or sleep apnoeia can greatly affect the work of dental health professionals in treating their patients.

Chris Morris, a public health consultant and founding member of OHAP spoke to Anita on Flow FM for the full story.
