Grow Your Goyder Business Over Breakfast
Small businesses within the Regional Council of Goyder are being invited to attend a new 'Business Breakfast Series', encouraging success within the local community.

The first breakfast session, titled 'Strategies to Grow Your Local Business', will be held on Friday, August 25 from 7 - 8.30am in the Regional Council of Goyder’s Burra office.
Council CEO David Stevenson said: “Council understands that in this difficult economic climate, it is even more important to support businesses in our region to thrive and grow, and the Business Breakfast Series will help them network and develop strategies for future growth.
“We see an opportunity to get businesses across the region together, and share ideas about how we can boost the Goyder economy, and attract new industry.”
The guest speaker for the session will be Managing Director of Jim Barry Wines, Peter Barry.
Mr Barry has overseen a major expansion of the winery over the past three decades, with Jim Barry Wines now distributed to over 25 countries around the world.
“Council is excited to work with our inaugural speaker," Mr Stevenson said, adding "Peter Barry is a leader in his industry, who will inspire us all, and impart sound strategies for our operators to grow their local business.
“The breakfast is open to all business people in the region and is an opportunity to network with fellow business people, and discover what support is available from the Council and its partner organisations, while enjoying a breakfast at no cost to the business."
Interested business people can RSVP to the Council on 8892 0100 or email: council@goyder.sa.gov.au.
