Newspoll No Joy for the Libs

The PM’s leadership has come under more pressure after the release of the latest poll.

The 3 weekly #newspoll came out last night at 9.30pm.

The poll showed the two party preferred (2PP) for the Coalition down to 46 (-1) and the ALP up 54 (+1) since the last poll 3 weeks ago.

It also showed a reasonable change in the Preferred Prime Minister stakes with the Prime Minister dropping 43 (-3) and a gain for Opposition Leader Bill Shorten 33 (+2) with the Labor party at its strongest primary vote this year at 38% while the Liberal primary vote is down 35 (-1).

This is the 18th negative Newspoll in a row leaving only 12 polls until the measure the PM used to oust Former Prime Minister Tony Abbott at 30 occurs which if polling follows it’s current trajectory will happen on Sunday the 20th of May 2018.

Pauline Hanson’s One Nation has again increased its primary vote after falling to 8% now back up to 9% with the Greens falling from 11% to 9%.
