Is Australia Headed for a Diesel Supply Shortage?


Federal Member for Mallee, Andrew Broad spoke out in parliament yesterday about his concerns over the Liquid Fuel Emergency Amendment Bill.


The bill is designed to ensure Australia has 90 days of fuel reserves in case of a global emergency, and is set up through a ticketing mechanism.

However Mr Broad believes the ticketing mechanism is "not good enough", and could leave Australia at risk if a global emergency were to arise.

Wayne the Flowman shared his thoughts in the Mid Morning Show.
