What's the Future of Australia's Oyster Industry?
Smoky Bay, Ceduna and towns along the West Coast of SA are well known as the 'oyster capital of the world', famous for their large oyster industry that is celebrated at Ceduna's Oysterfest annually.

Wayne the Flowman was in Smoky Bay yesterday and visited Bruce Zippel from Zippel Oysters and President of Oysters Australia, to find out about preparations for the festival.
Wayne shared the story with Flow listeners this morning, making special mention of the 24,000 oysters that are being shucked especially for Oysterfest 2017.
He also spoke to Bruce about the condition of South Australia's oyster industry, and how growers in Tasmania have been affected by Pacific Oyster Mortality Syndrome (POMS).
