Peterborough Connecting You with Free WiFi

The Main Street of Peterborough is keeping you connected, now offering free high speed Wi-Fi, available as part of the Main Street Renewal Project.

The service is available to anyone with a portable device, accessible any time during the day for up to 30 minutes, and is free of charge.

You can access the internet connecttion over a 1.5km stretch along the Main Street, between Steamtown Heritage Rail Centre and the Tinsmith’s Cottage Cafe. The Free Wi-Fi program has been funded by the District Council of Peterborough, through grants by the Department of Transport, Planning and Infrastructure “Places for People program” and an Australia Post “Our Neighbourhood Community Grants” scheme. The program will benefit residents, businesses, tourists and visitors by allowing people to connect anywhere in the street, at any time.
