New Resort Development at Apollo Bay?

A $70 million resort development could become a reality at Apollo Bay, with the application now on public exhibition.

The first phase of the proposed development on the Barham River Road includes 180 hotel rooms, 82 villas, a wellness centre, a 25-metre swimming pool, bar and restaurants.

It is expected the project will generate approximately 250 jobs during construction, and around 175 ongoing jobs once the resort is operational.

The application can be viewed during business hours at Colac Otway Shire Council’s customer service centres in Colac or Apollo Bay, or by visiting Council’s website.

The application will be on display until October 24, 2017.
