Hopetoun Students Best in the Business

Four Hopetoun P-12 College students have won state and national awards to become the major winners of a Certified Practicing Accountants, CPA Australia competition, 'Plan Your Own Enterprise'.

The Year 11 VCE Business Management students from Flow region Hopetoun (95.3fm), received first place for their hypothetical business 'Mallee Sport and Rec' at the state CPA awards night in Melbourne earlier this month.

The boys - Ashley Chamberlin, Connor McLean, Jake Bellinger and Jacob Holm then proved they were the best in the nation, beating 1,500 other entries to take out the top spot for Australia.
