Anne Frank Exhibition Coming to Tailem Bend

The Coorong Civic Centre in Tailem Bend will be host to a major international exhibition in 2018, titled “Let Me Be Myself – The Life Story of Anne Frank”.

This will be the first international exhibition to be hosted by the innovative young gallery, and will arrive in September 2018, to be on display for two months.

The Coorong District Council conducted extensive negotiations with custodians of the collection of works, Anne Frank House in Amsterdam, to secure the exhibition.

“This is indeed very exciting and a coming of age for our fledgling gallery,” said Coorong District Council Director Community & Corporate, Nat Traeger.

“Anne Frank’s story is deeply moving, and continues to strike a chord with people around the world. We expect it will be a drawcard for the entire region and an incredible opportunity for South Australia,” Ms Traeger said.

Clayton had the details on the Arvo Flow.

“Let Me Be Myself – The Life Story of Anne Frank” will be hosted by the Coorong Gallery, 95-101 Railway Terrace, Tailem Bend, from 21 September 2018 to 23 November 2018.
