Ouyen Lake Turns on the Tap
For over a decade the busy people of Ouyen in North-West Victoria have been fighting for a recreational lake and with the tap being turned on last week, they might have a new place to swim very soon.

The changing of channel to pipeline water system in 1998 saw the popular Walpeup Lake shrink dramatically to nothing more than a dam. Which began the push for a new lake to be situated in Ouyen 30 kilometers away.
Sarah caught up with Dean Munro The Ouyen Lake Working Group's Co-Chairman to talk about the Ouyen Lake and what's still to come.
