Burra Spring Garden Expo in Full Bloom
Spring is being celebrated in Burra today and into the weekend, with the inaugural Burra Spring Garden Expo at the Burra Town Hall.

The event is being held in conjunction with the already established Burra Districts Open Gardens, which runs over November 4 and 5.
The Regional Council of Goyder is supporting the Expo with a $500 grant towards funding the event, which will see Trevor Nottle open it, on the topic of “Garden Tourism: a growing industry”.
Trevor lives in Adelaide and has cultivated a Mediterranean approach to garden design and plantsmanship for many years.
Well recognised as a writer and lecturer with an international reputation, he has written many books and numerous articles in magazines and journals.
The Expo will feature a number of speakers on a range of topics, including succulents, seed collection, irises and writing a garden history.
Artistes will demonstrate their form of garden/floral art in the Town Hall foyer as part of the weekend.
