Rudy's Ride Reaches Flow Regions

South Australia’s fire services are supporting a Canadian firefighter’s global cancer fundraising

cycling journey which has now reached South Australia.

Captain Rudy Pospisil is a cancer survivor who has already cycled about 25,000 kms through fifteen countries. Currently he is pedalling 4,000 kms from Perth to Melbourne raising money for the Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre in Victoria – supported by Australian firefighters along the way.

Rudy aims to reach South East town of Kingston by this weekend and eventually will be met at Mount Gambier by members of Victoria’s MFB where he will be escorted on the next stage of his ride, culminating in a gathering of firefighters from around the world in Melbourne on 18 November 2017.

Members of the public wishing to donate to Rudy’s Ride or sponsor a kilometre can visit the ride

website rudysride.org.au or donate directly to the Australian beneficiary the Peter Mac Cancer Centre petermac.org
