Funding for Flow Regions Across Goyder


19 community groups and organisations within the Goyder Regional Council area have benefitted from the latest round of Ward Funding.


Recipients include:

Burra

  • Sir Hubert Wilkins Memorial Committee for the continuation of restoration and repair work to the cottage ($8,275).

  • Burra Regional Art Gallery for the repair of floating panels on the wall in the upstairs room of the gallery ($670).

  • Burra Regional Art Gallery to replace lights with LED in the gallery ($5,000).

  • Burra Golf Club for housing for four golf carts by enclosing the verandah (subject to development application) ($4,000).

  • Burra History Group for 15 heritage plaques for buildings in Burra ($3,135).

  • BBH Netball Club for new lights on the third netball court ($7,500).

  • Burra Regional Tourism and Business Association for marketing activities for the Burra Vintage and Antique Fair ($2,000).

  • Burra Community Development Program for a speaker for the town hall and an Environmental Workshop for Burra Community School children ($1,000).

Eudunda

  • Eudunda Community Hub Subcommittee of Eudunda Community Business and Tourism Association for the electrical upgrade of the workshop ($904).

  • Eudunda Community Business and Tourism Association for the installation of a dump point at the Eudunda Caravan Park/Stopover ($13,156).

  • Eudunda Kapunda Health and Advisory Council for landscaping, mulching, and gardening at the Eudunda Hospital campus ($1,300).

  • Eudunda Tennis Club for crack sealing and resurfacing for the Eudunda Netball and Tennis Courts ($5,000).

  • Eudunda Basketball Club to upgrade the basketball rings from timber to glass/acrylic ($10,506).

  • Eudunda Street Party Committee for the Eudunda Christmas Street Party ($2,000).

  • The Julia District War Memorial Hall Inc for the installation of a rainwater tank. ($2,745).

Robertstown

  • Robertstown War Memorial Community Centre to build an extension to the Community Centre Building ($25,000).

  • Robertstown Bowling Club for repairs to the exterior of the Bowling Club ($5,700).

Booborowie

  • Booborowie District Soldiers Memorial Hall Inc for a Dyson vacuum cleaner, portable PA system and a dozen tea towels ($963).

Hallett

  • Hallett Historical Society for historical preservation ($987).
