Morgan's Living River Festival Brings Maritime History to Life


Maritime heritage will come alive this weekend, at the Port of Morgan’s Living River Festival in Flow region 99.5fm Morgan.

A celebration of putt putt and wooden boats with special guests the PS Marion celebrating 120 years and Morgan’s PS Canally celebrating 110 years, Deb Alexander from the Mid Murray Council joined Anita on the Country Viewpoint for more information.


Boat parades, wine tasting, bar facilities, food, craft, tug of war, river raft regatta and boat displays are just some of the things on offer at the event taking place this weekend, November 18 and 19.

One hour cruise bookings are available on the day, or you can contact the Morgan Visitor Information Office on 8540 2643 for further event information.

Entry is only $2, with all proceeds going towards the restoration of the PS Canally and Morgan Community Projects.
