Stolen car spotted in Main Street of Robe
Police detecting speeding cars at Robe yesterday also detected a stolen car.
Police spotted a vehicle with unassigned registration plates attached in the Main Street of Robe about 12.15pm on Wednesday 22 November.
Police checks revealed the vehicle had been stolen from Queensland in January.
The driver, a 43-year-old Bray man, was reported for illegal use, driving unregistered, uninsured, unlicensed and with unassigned number plates.
He will be summonsed to appear in the Millicent Magistrates Court at a later date.
The car has been seized for forensic examination before being returned to the rightful owner.
