Eyre Western Man Caught Drink Driving

A drink driver was caught on the Highway near Kyancutta on the weekend.

About 3pm, Sunday 3 December, police stopped a car on the Eyre Highway and breath tested the driver.

The driver, a 60-year-old Eyre Peninsula man, allegedly returned a positive result of 0.171.

He was reported for drink driving, issued an instant loss of licence and his car clamped for 28 days. He will appear in court at a later date.
