21 Clare Community Groups Supported by Council
21 community groups within the Clare & Gilbert Valleys Council area will share in $58,872 in funding to support local projects, following the announcement of the 2017/18 Round of Community Asset Grants.

Groups receiving funding are:
Clare Valley Model Engineers - $2,708 for Directional Signage.
Lions Club of Clare & Districts - $2,993 for Upgrade to public speaker system in Clare shopping precinct.
Clare Sports Facility Management Committee - $3,000 for resurfacing courts.
Manoora Community Committee - $2,500 for Shelter Shed concrete pad.
RSMU Football Club - $3,000 for airconditioner replacement.
Saddleworth & District Community Association - Saddleworth Institute Committee - $3,000 for Saddleworth Institute air conditioning x 2.
Saddleworth Bowling Club - $2,741 for Glass washer for bar.
Clare Town Hall - $3,000 for Remote Control Blinds for main hall.
Zonta Club of Clare & Districts - $2,974 for picnic shelter shade, seat and Women's Honour Roll plaque renewal, Zonta Garden.
Auburn Traders Association - $3,000 for Auburn Mosaic Tourist Walk.
Manoora Centenary Park - $3,000 for surround fencing for multipurpose courts, Stage 1.
Mintaro Progress Association - $3,000 for airconditioning in meeting room.
Auburn Community Management Committee - Auburn Institute Committee $2,046 for purchase of 2 vacuum cleaners and storage cupboard.
Clare Valley Dressage Club - $3,000 for portable dressage arenas x 2.
Clare Region History Group - $2,400 for framing of World War I Photoboards.
SA CWA Auburn Branch - $3,000 for replacement of buckled ceiling panels and carpet.
Auburn Community Management Committee - Auburn Cemetery - $1,620 for tree planting at cemetery to complete the avenue of trees.
Tarlee Hall and Community Services - $3,000 for a niche wall.
RSL Auburn, Clare & Districts Sub-Branch - $2,890 for airconditioning at Auburn RSL Hall.
Mintaro Progress Association - St Peter's - $3,000 for St Peter's Quiet Garden.
Clare Valley Flying Group - $3,000 for aerodrome maintenance equipment.
Acting Chief Executive Officer John Coombe OAM said: “Council thanks these community groups for all their hard work and commitment in helping to make the region a welcoming and positive place to live, work and volunteer."
