Nhill Fatal Crash

A man has died following a truck crash in Nhill this afternoon.

Investigators believe the truck had been travelling along Diapur-Miram Road when it failed to negotiate a bend and struck a tree shortly before 12.30pm.

The driver and sole occupant of the truck, a 66-year-old Diapur man, died at the scene.

The exact circumstances surrounding the incident are yet to be established and the investigation is ongoing.

Road closures are currently in place and motorists are urged to avoid the area or seek alternative routes.
