Grants Program For Volunteer Firefighters

Volunteer firefighting brigades are now able to apply for grants of up to $250,000, thanks to new $10 million program funding by the state Government.

The program administered by the CFA to support vital v171olunteer brigade equipment and facility upgrades, as well as local initiatives that strengthen volunteerism and brigade culture.

Clayton spoke about the new grants on the Arvo Flow.

Brigades can work together and submit joint applications, and have until the end of February to apply.
