The rivers and creeks across NSW's Riverina region are now flowing with 88.7 Flow FM, including the area of Lockhart Shire Council.

To find out about one of Flow's newest broadcast regions, Anita spoke to Lockhart Shire Council General Manager Peter Veneris to find out more.

After experiencing a busy and successful 2017, Peter looked back at the year in review, telling Anita about some of the major projects underway, and those to come in 2018.

A Flood mitigation project is just one of the key introductions to the region next year, with Mr Veneris explaining the importance.

Bridge upgrades are also set to be completed in 2018, following a $1 million NSW State Government grant being awarded to the Shire.

Talk of a renewable energy project will also be further investigated in the new year, with Mr Veneris explaining the situation and what it would mean for the Shire.
