Driver Reported in Kadina

A man has been reported after he was seen performing a burnout while allegedly under the influence of alcohol in Kadina.

Just before 1am on Saturday 23 December, Kadina police heard a burnout in the area.

After a short search they located a white utility doing a burnout on Doswell Tce.

Police spoke to the driver on Julia Crescent and formed the opinion that he was driving under the influence.

The 25-year-old Kadina man was taken to the local police station where police will allege he failed to provide a breath analysis sample.

He was reported for misuse of a motor vehicle, driving under the influence and for failing to comply with a breath analysis.

His vehicle will be clamped for 28 days and he has lost his license for 12 months.

He will be summonsed to appear in the Kadina Magistrates Court at a later date.
