Woman Dies After Crash at Kalbeeba

A woman has died after sustaining injuries in a crash at Kalbeeba last week.

About 5.45pm on Thursday 21 December, police and emergency services were called to an area on Balmoral Road after reports that a car had left the road and collided with a tree.

The male driver suffered minor injuries and was treated at the scene.

The female passenger, a 66-year-old woman from Williamstown sustained serious injuries in the crash and was flown to the Royal Adelaide Hospital, where she passed away this afternoon.

Her death takes the State’s road toll to 101, compared to 86 at this time last year.
