Man Arrested for Drugs at Wallaroo Mines

A man was arrested for drug offences following a report from a member of the public at Wallaroo Mines.

Police were alerted to a man smoking an ice pipe in a vehicle at Wallaroo Mines about 2.30pm on Monday 1 January.

Police attended and located the man.

A search of his vehicle allegedly uncovered a trafficable amount of ecstasy, methamphetamine and cannabis, along with drug paraphernalia.

The 41-year-old Port Noarlunga man was arrested.

During a subsequent search of his Port Noarlunga home by South Coast Police further drugs and equipment were located.

He was charged with traffic in a controlled substance, possess equipment and possess controlled substance.
