Coming off the back of the success from their Christmas races in December, the Ceduna Racing Club is ready to put on another great community event.

Kicking off with a Calcutta and Sportsperson evening this Friday night, January 5 from 7pm, tickets can be purchased from the Ceduna Foreshore Hotel, contactable on 08 86 252 008.

Ticket prices are $40 per person and include a fantastic night of entertainment plus a quality 3 course meal, with special presentation from South Australian Jockey Club President, Bodelle Francis.

Ms Francis is looking forward to sharing a phenomenal story with the community, and would love to hear suggestions on how to make the racing industry better at the top.

Australian Racing industry legend John Letts will host the evening, with Eyre Peninsula Racing Legend Phillip McEvoy tipped to be the Calcutta Auctioneer.

When race day arrives this Saturday, race-goers are invited to say G’Day to Crows legend Tony Modra, while enjoying live music from popular group, Cue Duo.

A free courtesy bus will be running to get people to and from the races, with a variety of marquee packages and sensational shared food plates on offer.
