Equipment Stolen from Bureau Weather Station

Police are investigating after a solar panel and other equipment was stolen from a Bureau of Meteorology site in the Yorke Mid-North Local Service Area.

The panel, batteries and equipment was reported stolen from a site between Moonta and Wallaroo on Thursday 4 January.

The Bureau says the solar panel powers an automatic weather station integral to providing weather information for the safety of both the marine and local communities.
