Drink Drivers at Ceduna & Streaky Bay


Ceduna and Streaky Bay Police detected two drink drivers last night.


At 7pm on Friday 19 January, police pulled over a vehicle on the Eyre Highway, Ceduna for a mobile driver test.

The driver, a 52-year-old man from Denial Bay, recorded a blood alcohol reading of 0.132.

Then at 11.30pm, a patrol pulled over a vehicle on East Terrace, Streaky Bay for a mobile driver test.

The driver, a 17-year-old P-plater from Streaky Bay, recorded a blood alcohol reading of 0.110.

Both drivers were reported for drink driving and issued with a six month immediate loss of licence.

They will both be summonsed to appear in court at a later date.
