Suspicious House Fire at Karte

Police are investigating a suspicious fire which destroyed a home just north of Pinnaroo this morning.

Just before 2.30am on Saturday 20 January, police and fire crews were called to a property on Karte Road at Karte following reports of a house fire.

Fire crews extinguished the blaze but not before the house was destroyed. The house was unoccupied at the time.

Fire cause investigators are attending the scene this morning to determine the cause of the fire however police believe the fire was deliberately lit.
