Death at Black Point

Police will prepare a report for the Coroner following the death of a woman at Black Point this evening.

Police and paramedics were called to Black Point just after 7.30pm on Monday 22 January after a woman was pulled unconscious from the water.

Despite the efforts of members of the public and paramedics, the 71-year-old Rostrevor woman was pronounced dead at the scene.

There are no suspicious circumstances.
