Man Arrested After Dangerous Driving in Mannum

A man has been arrested after a dangerous driving incident last week.

Police will allege that about 4.50pm on Thursday 25 January, a 44-year-old Murray Bridge man was seen driving erratically on Mannum Road, overtaking cars on the gravel verge.

He then stopped at a business in Mannum on Adelaide Road and stole several items, before continuing on to Neil Street where he collided with another car.

The driver of the other car received minor injuries.

Police were on scene quickly and arrested the man at the scene.

He was charged with a number of offences including dangerous driving, theft, committing acts to endanger life and property damage.

He was refused bail and will appear in court today.
