West Coast Drink Driver

A man has lost his licence and his car after he was caught drink driving near Ceduna last week.

Just before 7pm, Friday 26 January, police stopped a car travelling on Laura Bay Road, near Laura Bay and submitted the driver to a breath test.

The driver, a 35-year-old local man, allegedly recorded a positive result of 0.167.

The man was issued a 12 month loss of licence and reported for drink driving.

His car was also impounded for 28 days.

He will appear at the Ceduna Magistrates Court at a later date.
