Real Life Cancer Stories Helping Those In Regional Areas

Studies have found that people living in remote areas across Australia are 35 percent more likely to die within five years of a cancer diagnosis than their city counterparts.

This sparked a team of researchers from UniSA's Sansom Institute for Health Research to create a series of online videos, believed to help support those who cant access the same supportive treatment in their area.

Dr Kate Fennell, clinical psychologist and leader of the Rural Cancer Stories was joined by oncologist Professor Ian Olver to bring these videos to light.

Sarah spoke to Dr Kate Fennell during the Regional Roundup about the Rural Cancer Stories videos.

The videos can be found on YouTube.
