Drug Drivers in Murray Mallee

Two men tested positive to drugs in the Murray Mallee region on Wednesday February 7.

A 39-year-old man from Policeman Point was stopped on the Princes Highway, Meninge checks reveled his licence had expired, he submitted to a driver screening test and recorded a positive reading of Methamphetamine.

He was issued with an expiation notice for the expired licence.

A short time later a 64-year-old man from Cooke Plains was stopped on Princes Highway, Tailem Bend he submitted to a driver screening test and returned a postitive result for methamphetamine.

Both men's driver screening samples will have further forensic testing to determine charges.
