Project Empower Coming to a Community Near You

A new project to empower young women in rural and regional areas is hitting the road and coming to communities right around Australia, encouraging interested regions to submit an expression of interest.

Called 'Project Empower' - the Country to Canberra initiative is a national ‘workshop roadtrip’ that will upskill and provide free leadership training to young regional and remote women.

CEO Hannah Wandel caught up with Anita on the Country Viewpoint for more information.

The volunteer team will be on the road from May to August this year, and are encouraging communities to submit an expression of interest before March 6. See countrytocanberra.com.au/projectempower for more.
