Supporting Women in Rice

The Women in Rice network aims to connect and empower rural women involved in the rice farming business. Up in Flow's 88.7 region, Rice Extension is holding a Women in Rice event this week.

To help build knowledge, skills and confidence within the business domain. The Women in Rice event is being held this Thursday near Jerilderie.

Sarah caught up with Leah from Rice Extension to find out more about the networking event.

A bus tour of Rice Research Australia Pty Ltd from the industry experts focusing on:

- Developing new rice varieties

- Producing seed

- On farm impact on grain quality

- Future technology for rice growing
