Arrest Over Speeding Stolen Car on YP
A man was arrested for driving offences in a stolen vehicle on the Yorke Peninsula on Saturday night.

About 8.20pm on Saturday 24 February, a Maitland patrol detected an orange VF Commodore sedan travelling at 150 km/h in a 100 km/h zone on the Copper Coast Highway between Paskeville and Kadina.
A short time later, a Kadina patrol detected the vehicle at 218 km/h in a 100 km/h zone on the Copper Coast Highway near Kadina.
The stolen vehicle was subsequently located at a Kadina address.
A 27-year-old man of no fixed address was arrested and charged with illegal use of a motor vehicle, driving at a speed dangerous to the public and driving with a suspended licence.
He was refused police bail and will appear in court today.
