Lockhart - Small Town with a Big Heart

In the Riverina district of NSW, and right around Australia, stories resonate of farmers who hit rock bottom but fight back from the brink in tough times.

To help with the battle, the community of Lockhart has joined forces to support RIVERINA BLUEBELL with the Vintage Verandah Fest on tomorrow, March 3.

The event aims to bring hope, funds and much needed resources for those that struggle against the demons of depressions and mental illness, with Courtney sharing the story on this morning's Brekkie Flow.

Festivities kick off tonight with a Country Rock band at the Lockhart Ex Serviceman’s club “Off the Wagon", with a huge market day and street party on Saturday 3 with garage sales around town, 50 markets stalls under the historic verandahs, buskers, street artists, big bands, and even an art exhibition featuring previous winners of Spirit of Land awards.

Featured artists are Andrew Whitehead of Urana, Raeleen Pfiffier of The Rock, Kylie Van Tol of Wagga Wagga and Jenny Newbound of Coolamon.
