Speeding Motorists Caught at Pimba
Woomera Police detected and fined two women over the weekend for speeding.
At about 5.45pm on Friday 9 March, police were performing mobile radar duties on the Stuart Highway south of Pimba, when they detected a vehicle travelling at 133km/h in a 110km/h zone.
Then at about 2.45pm the following day, police were conducting mobile radar duties on the Stuart highway, when they detected a vehicle travelling at 139km/h in a 110km/h zone.
Both drivers were stopped and issued with on the spot fines for speeding and breaching a condition of their provisional licence.
