Two Kadina Men Arrested for Drug Trafficking
Two men from Kadina will face court on drug trafficking charges after police allegedly found cannabis and methamphetamine in their vehicle.
Just after 1pm on Thursday 15 March, a police patrol stopped a car on the Upper Yorke Road, south of Bute.
Police checks revealed the 38-year-old Kadina man driving the car had a disqualified licence, while a cannabis pipe was also found in the car.
The driver was reported and the car was impounded.
On Friday 16 March, police conducted a more thorough searched of the vehicle at the Port Pirie impound yard, allegedly locating approximately 36 grams of methamphetamine and 5 grams of cannabis hidden in the vehicle.
On Saturday 17 March, Police from Kadina, Snowtown, Clare and STAR group officers from Adelaide, searched two Kadina properties allegedly locating an amount of drug paraphernalia and further evidence of drug trafficking.
The 38-year-old Kadina man previously reported on Thursday and a 37-year-old man from Kadina were both arrested and charged with trafficking a controlled drug and were bailed to appear in the Kadina Magistrates Court on 16 May.
