New Local CEO for Buloke Shire Council
Buloke Shire Council has appointed Anthony Judd as its new Chief Executive Officer (CEO), with the position commencing in less than two weeks, on April 23.
Mr Judd was born and raised in Charlton, and is now raising his own family in his home town.
He holds a Master of Business Administration (Deakin University) and a Bachelor of Management/Bachelor of Applied Science degree (Federation University).
Anthony has been at Buloke Shire Council since 2006, spending his first four years as Recreation Officer, followed by three years as Manager Assets and Infrastructure.
He has held his current position, Director Works and Technical Services since 2013.
An outstanding leader in his community, Anthony is also a graduate of the Loddon Murray Community Leadership Program.
Mayor Cr David Pollard was excited by the appointment of Anthony to the position which drew high quality candidates.
“Anthony has been at the forefront of everything that is happening in Buloke right now.
"His work has brought significant opportunities and funding to complete many projects across the Shire and he has an intrinsic understanding of the importance of the next exciting period of development for Buloke.
"Anthony is a shining light in Buloke and will continue to do amazing things. "His appointment to the position of CEO also underlines the organisation’s ability to foster and develop exceptional young professionals, of which we have many”, Cr Pollard said.
Anthony is currently Acting CEO until April 23 when he will officially become Buloke Shire Council CEO.
Council will soon begin the recruitment process to fill Anthony's previous Works and Technical Services Directorship position.
