Suspicious Fires Around Kingston SE
Police are investigating several suspicious fires in Kingston and Wyomi between March and April this year.
At 10am on Tuesday March 27, police and fire fighters were called to Marine Parade after a small fire started but was quickly extinguished by members of the public.
The fire re-ignited on Wednesday March 28 burning approximately 25 square metres of scrub before it was extinguished. About 1pm, Saturday March 31, police and fire fighters were called to Marine Parade small scrub fire started but had been quickly extinguished by members of the public.
About 4pm, Sunday April 8, police and fire fighters were called to Marine Parade after a fire was seen burning grass in the dunes along the beach.
Approximately 600 square metres of grass was burnt.
At 1.45pm, Tuesday April 10, approximately 1000 square metres of scrub was burnt on Marine Parade before it was extinguished by the CFS.
Police are asking members of the public to remain vigilant of any suspicious behaviour on Marine Parade and surrounds.
