Team Cobber Fries Up Funds for RFDS

Up in Flow's 107.5 region of Burra, Thamm's Whitehart Garage is putting on an event to support the Royal Flying Doctors Service Outback Car Trek of 2018.

The Royal Flying Doctors Service Outback Car Trek consists of a 3,500 kilometre drive, starting from Tamworth on Saturday June 2 and travelling through some of the most remote parts of country NSW and QLD to eventually end the trek up in Arlie beach in QLD.

The Burra competitors, team Cobber consists of the following members: David Meyer and his son Jeremy with their support crew of David Thamm and his daughter and son in law Cheree and Hamish McEwin and Micheal McCourt completing the team before they set out in June.

To kick of the fundraising efforts Thamm's Whitehart Garage is putting on a beer and burger night at the garage in Burra on Friday April 13, from 4:30pm with all funds going towards The Royal Flying Doctor Service.

David Thamm of Thamm's Whitehart Garage joined Sarah to share more about the event.
