Roads Reopened after Fatal Crash on Riddoch Highway

Police are investigating a fatal crash at The Gap in the State’s south-east.

Just after 8.30am on Saturday 14 April, police and emergency services were called to the Riddoch Highway after reports of a car hitting a tree about 2km north of Naracoorte Road.

The driver and sole occupant of the car, a 37-year-old woman from Crafers died at the scene.

Roads have been reopened in the area.

Major Crash investigators are examining the circumstances surrounding the crash, and anyone who may have witnessed the crash is asked to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.

The woman's death brings the State's road toll to 22 compared with 19 at the same time last year.
