Update: Fatal Crash at The Gap

A truck driver has died in a single vehicle crash at The Gap in the State's south-east.

Just after 12.30pm on Monday 16 April, police were called to the Naracoorte Road, about one kilometre north of the Riddoch Highway, after reports a truck had crashed into a tree.

The truck driver, a 61-year-old Sheidow Park man, died at the scene.

Major Crash investigators attended and examined the scene.

The man's death takes the State's road toll to 23 so far this year, compared to 19 at the same time last year.
