Police Investigate Mannum Incident
Police are appealing for information from the public as they investigate an incident at Mannum that left a man in a critical condition in hospital.
Members of the public found the man collapsed on the footpath on David Street, Mannum about 7am on Monday 23 April and alerted police.
The unresponsive man was taken to the Mannum Hospital before being airlifted to the Royal Adelaide Hospital.
He has sustained serious head injuries and undergone surgery. His condition is life-threatening.
Murray Bridge CIB detectives are investigating how the 45-year-old local man came to sustain serious injuries.
Investigations have revealed the man had been drinking at a friend's house nearby and left in the early hours of the morning on a scooter, which was found parked on the footpath next to him.
