Update: Serious Crash at Porter Lagoon
All roads have reopened following a serious crash on the Barrier Highway at Porter Lagoon this morning.
About 8am on Monday 30 April, a car rolled on the highway about 20 kilometres south of Burra.
The driver, a 52-year-old Burra man, was airlifted to the Royal Adelaide Hospital with life-threatening injuries.
Police would like to thank the members of the public, including local farmers, who stopped at the scene and provided assistance to the driver and helped block the road.
The Barrier Highway was closed for several hours while Major Crash Investigators examined the scene but has since been reopened.
