Warning for Road Users in SA's North

SA Police are reminding the motoring public to be wary of flooded roadways and the increased risk of localised flash flooding in areas in the north of the state.

Moderate rainfalls in the Flinders Ranges and surrounding districts in the Far North Local Service Area have created an increased risk.

Motorists are urged to use caution when travelling into the region, highways and townships in the Flinders Ranges.

Those using 4x4 and off road tracks, should exercise extreme caution as extensive drought conditions in the previous 18-months will mean flooding and new water holes in those areas.
