Corowa Kids Keen for Festival of Fun


Up in Flow's 88.7 Riverina region, families are getting ready for a day of music, games, storytelling and fun!

Held at the Corowa Racecourse, the 2018 Festival of Fun for Kids is jam-packed full of entertainment, bringing communities together to establish a fun, learning environment.

The main stage includes the following:

PJ MASKS - follow the adventures PJ Masks Connor, Amaya and Greg as they transform into their superhero alter egos, Catboy, Owlette and Gekko! The TV series has been on air on Disney Junior since April 2016 and has become a leading favourite for pre-schoolers!

THE VEGETABLE PLOT BAND - It's time to get fresh, throw your root down, and twist and sprout with the funkiest, filthiest band in town!

THE OTHER THEATRE COMPANY – A roving theatre show sharing their creativity and recreating on one

of Mem Fox’s greatest stories!

MC NATASHA QUINN – a local actress that loves to dance and sing, and will do almost anything for a

laugh! She loves it when she has other people to join in on her shenanigans!

CHRYSTAL VALLEY MUSIC – A variety of local emerging artists showcasing their musical skills on the

main stage and busker’s circuit!

JACK & HARRY KAY – local duo and brothers will be jamming and showing off their best covers and tunes! Rock on with Jack and Harry Kay!

Workshops on offer include a range of circus skills from the Fruit Fly Circus Workshop, Friends of the Library explore the world with Dr Seuss, get moving with Blue Earth Foundation, or join in on fun interactive shows with Animal of Oz.

A bunch of free activities will keep the kids busy throughout the day offered by community groups, and a variety of food trucks will help keep them happy through all the events.

There will be market stalls and an ATM on site.

Follow the festival's theme of storytelling, come dressed as your favourite story character and join in the parade at 2pm and be sure to stick around to see the hand-made lantern display at 5pm.

All happening this Sunday May 20 from 1pm–5pm.

At the Corowa Racecourse, Adams Street, Corowa

Parking off Cotton Street. Entry by gold coin donation. No dogs allowed on site.
