"The Coalition Can Win the Next Election" - Cory Bernardi

With all eyes on the Royal Wedding over the weekend, Australian Conservatives Leader Cory Bernardi joined Wayne on the Morning Workflow to discuss whether or not Australia should become a republic.

Senator Bernardi also shared his thoughts on the ABC, saying they are "out of control" and require a "radical restructure".

Talking the latest Federal Budget updates, Wayne asked Bernardi about his thoughts on Bill Shorten's reply, particularly in response to tax cuts.

A "smoke and mirrors" budget is the way the Senator described it, adding his prediction that "the Coalition can win and should win the next election".

Live Exports continue to be a contentious issue, with Member for Farrer, Sussan Ley this week introducing her Private Members Bill to ban all live sheep exports to the Middle East.

Cory Bernardi explained how the Bill will work if it goes to a vote, adding he suspects "it could get through".

The Australian Conservatives Leader also talked about the latest on the Banking Royal Commission, discussing with Wayne the importance of maintaining bank branches in our regional communities.

Join Wayne on Flow FM's Morning Show Monday to Thursday from 10am to midday each week.
