Saying 'No More' to Family Violence
Family violence is a very real issue in Australia, with metropolitan, regional and Indigenous communities all struggling with it in their own way.
Across the nation, it is more common for people to experience family violence from a male perpetrator, with violence from a partner having an enormous impact on women and children who experience it, as well as the community as a whole.
'No More' is a campaign initiated by Anti-Family Violence Campaigner Charlie King, to change people's attitudes and place the responsibility of reducing family violence on men.
The program which focuses on the respect of women visits communities right across Australia that seek support, and is planning to set up a Domestic Violence Action Plan in Flow FM's Ceduna and West Coast communities, connecting with people through the local sporting clubs.
Charlie spoke to Flow FM for more information.
